Prayer
Prayer, in its simplest form, is opening ourselves to God—whether talking to Him, listening to Him, or attentiveness to His workings and presence in our daily lives, we acknowledge our dependence. There’s no perfection or mastery, there’s just an earnest desire for power, presence, and provision.
We want to become a people of prayer. We will continue to develop this page as a resource to strengthen our prayer life, individually and corporately.
Teach us how to pray.
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
